codelife Cracking The Code
Saturday 24th April 201010am - 4pm
Venue: New Life Baptist Church, 52-54 High Street, Northallerton DL7 8EG
For Men in the North-East Main Speaker: Alex Willmott, Journalist Alex Willmott Alex was born and raised in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales and crossed the border for the first time to attend Hull University at the age of 18. During his degree he started a University movement at the Scarborough Campus to encourage students to follow Jesus. He moved to York in 2005 where he worked as an Evangelist and Toilet Cleaner for Saint Michael Le Belfrey Church before studying a post-graduate certificate in Newspaper Journalism in Sheffield in 2007. He now works for the Lancashire Telegraph as a reporter and is currently a weekly blogger for CVM. He is passionate about the relevance of the gospel and believes that each man who follows Jesus has been given the tools to live as a radical disciple in the UK for the benefit of those who do not yet believe in the message. We will network, worship, pray, get inspired, get to grips with God’s plan for our lives and get some tools to live life well for God. More than ever we need to be in a band of brothers. Get along for the day and stoke the fires of your faith. CVM has a vision for equipping the Church to introduce every man in the UK to Jesus Christ and is strategically placed to enable and facilitate this conference. Seminars: Discipling Men...
